Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 2 contains these brand new controls:

• Resco ImageBox for .NET CF ? control for displaying and manipulating images (supports png, tiff, jpg)
• Resco ImageButton for .NET CF - modifiable, adjustable and skinable button
• Resco Audio for .NET CF - library for playing and recording audio (supports wav, ogg, raf, spx)

Developers can display images using Resco ImageBox for .NET CF and manipulate them by resizing, zooming, rotating, adjusting brightness, gamma correction, contrast and more.

ImageButton for .NET CF not only allows visualizing the focus of the button, but also gives it a professional look such as that of Windows Vista.

Resco Audio for .NET CF allows developers to play or record audio files and it is even able to convert from one audio format to another.

One of the most powerful new features of Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 2 is the Touch Scroll support. "Controlling an application with a thumb has already become a common feature for most touch screen mobile devices", says Vladimr Gregor, sales and marketing manager of Resco. "Now we provide software companies with a platform to further develop this functionality in their custom applications."

Currently the developers can test this functionality in the most popular MobileForms Toolkit controls:

The full support of Touch Scroll functionality will be available in Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 2 which will be released on June 10^th, 2008.

Because of the variety of Windows Mobile device displays and to ensure user comfort while touch scrolling, the scrolling sensitivity is adjustable.

Existing customers with valid subscription can already take advantage of the Touch Scroll feature simply by downloading the latest version from the customer web portal.

Anyone can download and try the demo application for Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices. It shows a filtered list of customers which can be comfortably scrolled with your thumb.
